Two girls commit suicide in Akola district

An 18-year-old girl student Kavita Suresh Pawar of Murtizapur tahsil town in Akola district allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to death by a sari to the ceiling fan late last evening, police said, police said.

She was studying in 12th standard and residing in Tidke Nagar of Murtizapur. The reason behind her suicide is yet to be known. Her parents are teachers. Investigation is on.

In another incident, Seema Rameshwar Ukhalkar (24) a student of 2nd year LLB of Shelka Law College at Khamgaon in Buldana district reportedly committed suicide by handing herself to death in kitchen of her house yesterday.

In a suicide note she stated that nobody was responsible for her death, the police said.
