Two separatist guerrillas and a policeman are killed as terrorists attack an army convoy in J&K's Baramulla district.

Two separatist guerrillas and a policeman were killed on Friday when terrorists attacked an army convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

"Terrorists fired at a passing convoy in the afternoon from a hilltop near Sheri village in Baramulla. The troops escorting the convoy returned the fire and a gunfight followed," a police officer told IANS.

"Two terrorists and one policeman posted at the gate of the Sheri Police Training School were killed in the exchange of fire.

"Five trainee policemen were also injured," the official added.

A police training school is situated close to the highway at Sheri.
