Two held for posing as guards of Haryana CM

Both the culprits are alleged to have used the name of Jatinder as self-styled private security officer.

Two brothers allegedly posing as private security guards of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were on Thursday arrested, police said.

Sanjay and Ashok of Gangana village also allegedly threatened Palwinder Singh, an SDO of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) with dire consequences if he failed to let off a person involved in a power theft case.

Both the culprits are alleged to have used the name of Jatinder as self-styled private security officer and given threats to the SDO over telephone.

The SDO had conducted the raid on the tubewells owned by Sanjay and detected the theft of power. Jatinder is also a resident of the same village.

The brother of Sanjay is a financer who has been arrested by the police. The police is also looking for another youth Parveen who is also involved in this case.
