Two persons were injured when terrorist, in a bid to target a Rashtriya Rifles post, hurled a grenade in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

Terrorists hurled a grenade on the 6 RR post in Pangai area of Rajouri on Tuesday night, they said, adding that the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside.

Two youths, identified as Mohammad Azad and Mohammad Bashir were injured in the blast and shifted to a district hospital.
Troops launched a cordon and search operation in the area to track down the terrorist responsible for the act.
