Two killed as car falls in 30-foot deep gorge

Two persons, including a woman, were killed and three injured when their car fell into a 30-foot gorge from a bridge near Ponnur, about 80 km from Udhagamandalam in Kerala.

While the driver died on the spot, the woman was declared brought dead at Gudalur Government Hospital, where the injured are being treated, police said. Two couples, along with the driver, had come as tourists from Thrissur district in Kerala, they said.
