Two killed in house collapse

Two persons died and four others of a family were injured when a double-storey dilapidated house collapsed in Hartalpur village under Lohta area on Sunday morning following incessant rain since Saturday evening.

Two persons died and four others of a family were injured when a double-storey dilapidated house collapsed in Hartalpur village under Lohta area on Sunday morning following incessant rain since Saturday evening. The deceased were identified as Iqbal (22) and Rukayya (18).

As per reports, due to incessant rain, a building of Karim in Hartalpur village collapsed and two members of his family died while four others were injured.
Chaos prevailed in the area after the incident.

Neighbours took the victims out of the debris and rushed them to the Shiv Prasad Gupta Divisional hospital. The injured were identified as Karim, Tahira, Jafar and Nasim. Later, police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
