Two people were killed when the rear portion of a building in south Mumbai collapsed early Wednesday, fire brigade officials said.

The rear portion of the Sayyed House building, located near the police headquarters, collapsed around 5.30 am.

Fire brigade officials said they had pulled out two dead bodies from under the debris but at least five people were still trapped.
