Two militants of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning, police said.

The two LeT militants were active in the forested area of Bhart in Doda district and were responsible for many killings and abductions, police said.

"This is a big success for security forces," senior superintendent of police, Doda Parbhat Singh told mediapersons.

Doda district ia about 190 km north-east of Jammu.
