Two militant hideouts busted J&K

Security forces on Sunday busted two militant hideouts in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch and Reasi districts and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from them.

Acting on a tip off, troops of 27 Rastriya Rifles launched a search operation and busted a cave hideout in Oran-Rathiri area in Poonch district, defence sources said.

Ten Chinese-made hand grenades, 13 UGBL grenades, 252 Pika rifle rounds, 240 AK rifle rounds and 8 AK rifle magazines were recovered from there, they said.

Troops also busted another hideout in Larhumba area in Reasi district and recovered one UBGL with 4 grenades, 18 AK rifle magazines, one SLR magazine, a pistol magazine and 93 pika rounds, they said, adding no arrests have been made.
