Two motorists were killed when a Punjab Roadways bus hit their scooter near Landheke village in the district on Friday evening.

Two motorists were killed when a Punjab Roadways bus hit their scooter near Landheke village in the district on Friday evening, police said on Saturday.

The victims, Gurdev Singh (23) and Satnam Singh (28)—residents of Kotisekhan of the district, were coming to Moga when the bus coming from the opposite direction hit them, about three-kms from the district headquarters.

Both of them died on the spot while the bus driver managed to escape, they said adding a case has been registered against the driver.
