Two slight-intensity quakes jolt Himachal

The quakes, measuring 3.6 and 3.5 on the Richter scale were felt at 5:41 am, the Met office said.

Two simultaneous slight intensity earthquakes on Thursday jolted parts of Himachal Pradesh, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

No loss of life or property was reported.

A tremor measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale with epicentre in the Lahaul and Spiti region was felt at 5:41 am, the Met office said.

At the same time, a 3.5 intensity quake was recorded, with its epicentre in Kinnaur area of the state, it added.
