Two terrorists shot down in south Kashmir

Two terrorists were killed in separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said on Friday.

An unidentified terrorist was killed in a gunbattle with the security forces in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, the sources said.

The encounter began Friday morning when terrorists hiding in a house in Khrew area fired at the security forces, who cordoned off Khar mohalla in the area, the sources said.

Another one was killed at Machoo in Budgam district last night, the sources said, adding that one AK rifle, two magazines and few rounds were recovered from him.
