Two youths drown in Narmada river in MP

Two youths died due to drowning in the Narmada river while taking bath at the Tilwara ghat area, police said on Friday. Police said the incident happened on Thursday night and they have fished out bodies two youth from the river on Friday.

We could not launch the rescue operation due to darkness, they said.

The deceased were identified as Kailash Pandey (18) and Krishna Jharia (18), police said adding their bodies have been handed over to their relatives after the autopsy.

A case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are on.
