According to Contactmusic.com, Thurman, who was able to show her soft side in her latest movie "Prime", says she is tired of being reduced to cliché parts.

She says: "You are so limited in this business by people's perceptions, and I know that a lot of people found me cold in the past. I am not alone in that - there are other ice-blonde, blue-eyed Nordic-looking actresses - but these clichés chase you around and it does get a little boring. 'Oh boy, they want me to play the German wife of the Nazi officer again. Tell them no!'"
