"I had not accused the BJP leader of being directly involved in the land deal but had blamed him for not being aware of the illegal land deals happening in his own department — the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation," Tytler said.

Tytler, however, reiterated there was a discrepancy in the land deal in Kirti Nagar which was sold to a Calcutta-based builder at a throwaway price of Rs 13 crore.

The Congress leader added that he had checked with the Delhi Development Authority, which confirmed that the land deal amounted to contempt of the apex court's order.
