Uday?s bail plea rejected

THE SPECIAL POTA court today dismissed the bail application of Uday Pratap Singh, father of UP?s MLA Raja Bhaiyya alias Raghuraj Pratap Singh, on the grounds of non-cooperation with the court.

THE SPECIAL POTA court today dismissed the bail application of Uday Pratap Singh, father of UP’s MLA Raja Bhaiyya alias Raghuraj Pratap Singh, on the grounds of non-cooperation with the court. Uday, his son Raja Bhaiyya and his brother Akshay Pratap Singh are being tried here following the Apex Court’s order.

With this, special judge R C Mishra directed the Pratapgarh Jail Superintendent to produce the applicant before this court at the earliest.

The judge pointed out the foreign AK-56 rifle and ammunitions were recovered from Uday Pratap Singh’s house and not from that of the co-accused.
