In an effort to provide Aadhaar cards (UID) to all residents, a new centre started operations on Tuesday in the DLF area.

The facility, which will remain functional for one month, has been started by the Gurgaon Citizens’ Council (GCC) at House Number 8, Bodhi Marg, DLF Phase-1, in association with the firm managing Aadhaar.

GCC president RS Rathee said, “This UID enrolment centre would be functional for one month. The centre would open daily at 9.30am till 7pm.”
“Since residents have been facing problems amid limited UID centers, we thought we needed one more office in this area. Now, residents will not have to run from pillar to post.”
