"Our party has already started preparations for contesting next assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal on our own," the Bharatiya Janashakti President told reporters in Guna.

Bharatiya Janashakti would field its candidates in every assembly constituency of these two states, she said, adding "if the situation demands electoral understanding, we will tie-up only with like-minded parties at ideolgical level."

Bharti claimed the battle in the next assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh would be between her party and Congress and "we will secure two thirds majority to form the government."

Claiming to enjoy the support of many MLAs in the state, she said, "these legislators are not joining her party at this juncture because we do not want to pose any threat to the state government."
