They said the firebrand leader, who has announced her decision to go on a 90-day nationwide ‘Janadesh Yatra’ from February 6, regretted her going back to the party after her suspension the first time. She won’t be able to work with a set of people who don’t have any commitment to the party’s ideology, the sources added. Ms Bharti was in Delhi over the past two days after the completion of her 850-km-long ‘Ram-Roti Padyatra’ from Bhopal to Ayodhya.

“If only Uma had taken this decision the last time, she wouldn’t have wasted one year in the party hoping to do some work in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Jaswant Singh kept promising that she will be sent back as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.
