Even as uninformed students are continuing to arrive at the Pravesh Bhawan for admissions, preparations are still not complete. Following uncertainty many students, who have also qualified for admission in various constituent colleges, are in a dilemma as the colleges have already their admission schedules.

Meanwhile, UGAT-2006 Director Prof AP Sinha is extremely unhappy with the allegations being levelled against him and his team of not cooperating with the new team handling the varsity's UG admission process since July 3. Prof Sinha claims that he has extended all support to the three chairmen and has provided them with all the information, files and data that they needed or sought from time to time.

It is worth mentioning that on July 2, under pressure following the arrest of 15 persons for allegedly being involved in leaking PGAT questions, the varsity administration hurriedly appointed three chairmen to oversee BA, BSc and BCom admissions. "Till the last moment, I made it clear to the VC that unless he did not have confidence in me, I along with my team should be allowed to complete the process. He expressed satisfaction with the work done and praised us for our efforts," Prof Sinha said.

Prof Sinha said right from July 5 till date, he has been receiving letters from the three chairmen about various things and he has always responded to them immediately. "I think it is completely unfair to blame me or my team for the delay," he said.
