UPA govt should be drowned in Arabian Sea: MP CM

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the PM compromised with the dignity of the country and he was responsible for the poor economic situation in the country.

In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in Bhopal on Sunday the PM did immense damage to the country’s dignity and honour and such a government should be drowned in Arabian Sea.


“Is sarkar ko Arab Sagar mei duba dena chahiye,” observed the CM. He was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Yuva Vijay Sankalp Sammelan at Lal Parade ground here at Bhopal.

Chouhan said the Prime Minister compromised with the dignity of the country and he was responsible for the poor economic situation in the country.

While BJP leaders who include the party affairs in charge for Madhya Pradesh Ananth Kumar exhorted party workers to work wholeheartedly for the hat-trick of the BJP overnment in the state and help the party reach Red Ford in Delhi (after 2014 Lok Sabha elections).

Chouhan said though Manmohan Singh happened to be an economist he failed in checking the constant decline of value of the rupee against dollar.

“Our borders are not safe. There is hardly any end to the intrusion from China and Pakistan into the country. How intruders can be allowed to get back to their soil”, he asked.

Earlier, BJYM national president Anurag Thakur highlighted the achievements of the state in various sectors. In his address, he appreciated the way Shivraj Singh Chouhan worked hard to make MP a top ranking state in the country in the context of its growth.

The state BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar ridiculed the crisis of leadership in the Congress.

He said people wanted to know who was the chief ministerial candidate of the Congress but there was no answer.

The Congress had lost its identity in the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Gujarat. In Madhya Pradesh too it was going the same way.

Others who addressed the gathering include BJYM state president Amarjeet Mourya, MLA Vishwas Sarang and others.
