"An all party meeting will enable the government frame stringent laws to check terrorism," senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar told in Chandigarh .

Castigating the UPA Government for its alleged failure in controlling terrorism, Kumar -- who is in-charge of party's political affairs in Bihar -- said "vote bank politics is the biggest hindrance in checking terrorism."

Accusing neighbouring Pakistan of providing its land to terrorists for training purposes, he said Centre must snap all peace talks with that country.

"Peace talks with Pakistan have become a mockery. India needs to adopt a tougher stand against Pakistan," he said.

"The dialogue with Pakistan must be discontinued in the present circumstances...All bus and train service between the two countries must be stopped. Pakistan must be told in straight terms to end cross border terrorism," Kumar added.
