"The project 'Smile Train' has been functioning in a local Regency Hospital and over 100 operations have been performed since March," a senior plastic and cosmetic surgeon and in charge of the project Dr SK Gulati said on Tuesday.

He said a number of patients, mostly children suffering from the disorder, have been operated so far.

People from nearby areas like Dehat, Unnao, Kannauj Fatehpur, Banda, Hamirpur and Jalaun are also coming for the surgery, said Dr Atul Kapoor, Managing Director of Regency Hospital.
