Robin Uthappa, making a comeback into the Indian side, set the Chepauk on fire with his thunderous stroke-play, making 70 runs off just 41 balls. Uthappa’s strike-rate of 170.73 is the third best by any batsman scoring at least 50 runs in an innings against West Indies. The details:

India were cruising nicely at Chennai with 232 runs on the board and only three wickets down. Dravid and Tendulkar were having West Indies bowlers at their mercy and a total of 350 looked imminent. India somehow lost the way completely from this position and got bundled out for just 268 – a mere addition of 36 runs to the total.
