Chief Income Tax Commissioner, Ashvini Kumar Luthara observed this while inaugurating the Utkal Diwas function here on Saturday. ADGP Santosh Kumar Raut presided over the function. Additional Chief Secretary UK Samal and a large number of people of Oriya community were present on the occasion.
AK Luthara also released annual magazine ‘Utkala’ on the occasion. It has been edited by Madhuri Vishvas. SK Raut said today is the foundation day of Orissa state too. The world Utkal means excellence and Orissa state is steeped in great art and culture, he remarked.
Secretary of the Utkal Samaj Purna Chand Rath informed that the work on the construction of Jagannath temple in Bhopal is in final stage.
AK Luthara also gave away prizes to the winners of the competitions organised last year.
