Later, the VC directed the academic department of the university to serve notices upon the colleges – directing them to take immediate corrective steps.

The V-C visited the Aryan College, Kopal College and the Jawaharlal Nehru College during the forenoon and the Physical Education Department, Adult Education Department and Sociology Department of the university during the afternoon.

At the Aryan and Jawaharlal Nehru Colleges, the V-C found the building infrastructure quite unsuitable for the requirements. At Aryan College the V-C found no students present and upon inquiry was told that they had left after classes though it was only around 10.15 am. He also found very few teachers present. The library was also found to be under-equipped.

Similarly, at the Jawaharlal Nehru College too, very few students and teachers were present and those teachers present were not taking classes. Out of the total 520 students enrolled only about nine to ten were around. The V-C took a stern view of the situation and directed the authorities to pull up the socks.

In the afternoon the VC visited the Physical Education and Adult Education Department and is said to have expressed his ire over the extended lunch hour being enjoyed by the staff. Also the presence of students was found to be dissatisfactory.
