V-C of vet university honoured

Maj Gen (retd) Shri Kant, vice-chancellor of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LLRUVAS) was honoured with Fellow Award of Indian Society for Advancement of Canine Practice (ISACP) for his outstanding contribution to the veterinary profession in general and canine practice in particular.

Before joining the university as vice-chancellor, he was serving military as Brigadier, RVS, Eastern Command, Kolkata and Commandant of Central Military Veterinary Laboratory, Meerut, besides Commandant of Equine Breeding Stud, Hisar. He has also served as the pioneer instructor on Biological Warfare.
