V-Cs to attend conference in Australia

THE VICE Chancellor (VC) of Jiwaji University Gwalior Prof. Hoshiyar Singh and VC of Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar Prof. D P Singh will leave for Australia to participate in an international conference of the Association of Commonwealth Universities? to be held at the Adelaide University between April 9 and 13.

THE VICE Chancellor (VC) of Jiwaji University Gwalior Prof. Hoshiyar Singh and VC of Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar Prof. D P Singh will leave for Australia to participate in an international conference of the Association of Commonwealth Universities’ to be held at the Adelaide University between April 9 and 13.

Selected Vice Chancellors belonging to various countries will take part in the conference. Before leaving for Australia, Prof. Hoshiyar Singh and D P Singh told reporters that the conference has been convened to discuss the future of universities and the difficulties in running them.

They said that the UNO had declared the international decade from 2005 to 2014.
