Rain lashed parts of the Kashmir Valley for the third consecutive day, while the metrological department has predicted that weather conditions in Kashmir are likely to improve from Thursday.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of 8.2°Celsius as compared to previous night's 9.3°Celsius, a Met official said.
Gulmarg, the famous ski resort, recorded a minimum temperature of 1°Celsius as compared to previous night's 1.8°Celsius, the Met added.
Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of 8.7°Celsius as compared to previous night's 8.1°Celsius, the official said.
The famous tourist resort Pahalgam in south Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of 4.6°Celsius as compared to previous night's 6.6°Celsius, while Kokarnag in south Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of 4°Celsius as against previous night's 7.4°Celsius, a MeT official said.
Qazigund, the gateway town to the Kashmir Valley, recorded a minimum temperature of 6.6°Celsius as against previous night's 6.8°Celsius.
Leh in Ladakh region recorded a minimum temperature of 0.7°Celsius as compared to previous night's 7.6°Celsius, while Kargil town recorded 5.8°Celsius, the official said.
