THE UNIVERSITY administration has geared up to conduct the entrance test for B Ed on June 4 at 74 examination centres in the district.

Coordinator of the B Ed entrance examination test Dr SMP Tripathi said that around 38,192 students would take the test for admission to 2,610 seats at the university and its affiliated degree colleges.
Talking to mediapersons, Tripathi said that 23,886 male and 14,306 female students would take the examination. Forty-five examination centres were made for boys and 29 centres for girls. Besides, a reserve examination centre was set up at the university. Responding to a question, he said there were 780 seats for B Ed course in the university, 630 seats in aided and affiliated colleges and 200 seats in affiliated and self-financed colleges.
The examination would start at 10 am in two shifts. He claimed that admit cards were already despatched and those who did not receive their admit cards could download it from website www.ddu.com.
Tripathi said that the mobile phone would not be allowed in the examination hall. He said that this year 8,400 students would take the examination of Hindi as a subject for getting admission to B Ed and 7800 students would be in history, he said.
Only 400 students would take the examination of agriculture. He said all preparations were made. In case of leakage of any paper, the second copy of would reach the centres in five minutes.
