Veteran Bollywood actress Nadira has been admitted to Bhatia Hospital in Central Mumbai following a paralytic stroke coupled with heart attack, according to hospital sources.

The 74-year-old yesteryears actress is undergoing treatment under Dr Hemant Thacker and is in the intensive care unit of the hospital, Dr Rita Somani, who is assisting Thacker, said.
Somani said that although her condition was serious when she was admitted four days ago, "now it is stable. However, she is still in ICU."
Nadira, who lives alone and whose relatives stay in Israel, had stopped making public appearances for the last three years, according to Bollywood sources.
They added that few years back she had played small roles in Mahesh Bhatt's film Tamanna and Milind Soman's Margaritta.
