Vishva Hindu Parishad, along with Bajrang Dal activists held protest demonstrations on Wednesday at nearly 20 places all over the Jammu region and burnt effigies of Peoples Democratic Party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beig.

The activists demanded implementation of Governor's rule in the state. Bajrang Dal activists blocked the national highway at Lakhanpur shouting anti-Beig and anti-Mufti slogans. They also burnt their effigies.
