THE DRIZZLE in the morning failed to dampen the spirits of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal activists who hit the streets, here on Friday, to express anger over the terrorist attack at RSS headquarters in Nagpur.

They also burnt the symbolic effigy of terrorism.
Coordinator of the Bajrang Dal Brijesh Tripathi, city unit president of the VHP Dr Praveen Tripathi criticised the Union Government for their soft attitude towards the separatist forces. They said the Congress-led Union Government and the SP-led State Government were hand in gloves. He said Hindus would not allow such attacks on their places.
Tripathi said the intelligence agencies had submitted their report regarding Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and suggested to ban the organisation but the State Government was not imposing the ban on SIMI as it wanted to appease members of a particular community. Blaming the Congress and the SP as anti-Hindu forces, they said both political parties were ignoring the larger section of society.
VHP leader Manoj Agrahari, Kranti Kumar, Rajesh Nishad, Chandan Pandey and others said the Bajrang Dal activists could repeat their performance of 1990 if the State Government would continue the appeasement policy.
