VHP to observe bandh on July 3

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have called for a bandh from July 3 to protest against the withdrawal of land given to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have called for a bandh from July 3 to protest against the withdrawal of land given to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).

Demanding that land be restored to the shrine board, National convenor of Bajrang Dal, Prakash Sharma, alleged that the state government is trying to take over the SASB.

Sharma said Hindu outfits will be organising processions throughout the country on July 2.
