KYKL had earlier threatened to kill all important office bearers of the party if Chaoba Singh was not removed from BJP presidentship by February 15 last.

The militant outfit had earlier said it attempted on the life of Tombi Singh on March 30 because he (Tombi Singh) was a staunch supporter of Chaoba Singh.

BJP sources said so far at least ten office bearers, mostly those who were in charge of district committees of the party, had resigned from their respective posts and primary memberships of the party.
