One of the most elegant batsmen of his generation, Solanki has been recalled to the squad after a three-year absence. He played for England at various levels and was promoted to the full side in 1999-2000 when he made eight one-day appearances during the tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Has since continued to impress for Worcestershire and now has another chance to shine. Was born in India but moved to Wolverhampton at the age of eight.
