Addressing a Press conference here on Wednesday, Babbar, who launched a new political outfit, the Jan Morcha, after his expulsion from the SP, predicted there would be a big law and order problem in the State.

Criticising the SP leaders, including Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for promoting capitalist culture, he said these leaders had deviated from the principles of socialism propagated by the late Dr Ram Manohar Lohia.

Launching a scathing attack on the government, he said there was no law and order in the State.

He alleged these SP leaders would like the State to boil with communal riots so they could take advantage of the grim situation.

“Mulayam Singh will present a rosy picture of the State on law and order front and it was on his information that I used to blame media for unnecessarily highlighting this issue,” he said.

Taking a dig at the government for encouraging scams in the State, Babbar said a major scam in the Rozgar Guarantee Scheme in UP was yet to be exposed.

Babbar took umbrage at the SP for allowing its activists to resort to vandalism in cine star Amitab h Bachchan’s income tax notice issue.
