Voltamp lists 15 pc higher at Rs 399

The company debuts on the stock markets at a 15.65 per cent premium over its offer price of Rs 345.

Voltamp Transformers on Wednesday listed at Rs 399 on the Bombay Stock Exchange at a 15.65 per cent premium over its offer price of Rs 345.

The stock surged as high as Rs 419.90 by mid-day, in a strong debut trade, according to data available on the stock Exchange.

On the National Stock Exchange today Voltamp listed at Rs 370. The price band for the Voltamp issue was fixed at Rs 295-345 per share.

The company had entered the capital market with an initial public offering of 48,83,840 equity shares of Rs 10 each and the issue had been subscribed 17.65 times.

Voltamp manufactures power, distribution and dry transformers.
