Buoyed by infrastructure development in the North Eastern states, Volvo Construction Equipment is planning to showcase its best models suitable for the region after a thorough market research.
The focus on infrastructure development in the NE states, had given impetus to the requirement of construction equipment in the region and the company has decided to showcase its latest products to find suitable models, Volvo Construction Vice-president Mrityunjaya Singh told reporters in Guwahati.
In the wake of rising fuel prices and other operating costs, Volvo is focussed on providing buyers with low cost machines designed with higher operating efficiency and product reliability, he added.
The company is organising a road show on Friday to showcase its latest hydraulic excavator.
The new 'Volvo B' series excavator represents the latest in engineering development and provides superior operator comfort and maximum productivity, he said.
