Pull your socks up Team India, the World Cup is yet to be won
This refers to the report Pak next test of nerves for India (March 25). Team India played well against Australia but the chinks in its armour still showed. The victory eclipsed the follies but these may turn into serious stumbling blocks in the future.
Indians still lack the ability to play like a champion team. Most players look tired, a fact that contributed to the eventual run-out of Gautam Gambhir. So Indian batsmen have a real task at hand when they take on Pakistan's attack. They have to guard against complacency, as the World Cup is yet to be won.

Set off on the trail of trafficking
The report Fed hormones, kids pushed into sex trade (March 24) is appalling. The fact that young girls are being injected with dangerous hormones so that they mature faster is shocking.
A large number of women in rural areas are either forced into the sex trade or made to work as domestic help. The authorities should take serious note of the situation and take steps to curb this illegal trafficking.

The report Don't allow Jats to hold Delhi to ransom (March 25) is a timely reminder by the Supreme Court to the government. It is unfortunate that the Jats, a wealthy community in north India, are agitating for a piece of the reservation pie and disrupting normal life in the process.

With an eye to their votebanks, politicians openly encourage such anarchy. It is time the government put an end to this policy of reservation and treated people of all castes and creed alike.
