It was good for the dharmsthan (religious shrine), but we suffered. Even then we are not complaining, we are happy.

The (Amarnath Sangharsh) Samiti did the right thing. You know what they were saying in the Valley when they beat up truck drivers carrying fruit? We will give the apples to Punjab but never to Jammu.

Never before in the last 60 years have the Dogras and other communities come together like this. And at least Jammu made headlines. At least now, after the agitation, people will know Jammu as well.

For 12 days I was in Central Jail, Amphala. Hinduparties usually pull each other's legs. But now we are together. Just like the Hurriyat came together.

The agitation had to happen, after all it was too much to tolerate. At the end of it the agitation failed. No one benefited from it. There was some talk of compensation but nothing happened.
