VRA's grounds are in Amstelveen right next to Amsterdamse Bos, became an official ODI-ground during the World Cup in 1999. It hosted the match between South Africa and Kenya on that occasion.

This ground happens to be the second Dutch ground to put a grass wicket.

Prior to becoming an international venue, it has been used for many VRA home matches and several practice matches for Dutch XIs.

South Africa played the Netherlands national team at this venue in July 1998 while the first three-day match was played on this ground in August 1998.
