Wall collapses in central Mumbai, 1 killed

One labourer was killed and six injured when a wall collapsed in central Mumbai in the early hours of Friday morning, police said.

Due to strong winds a tree collapsed on a wall near Century Mills in Parel, which fell on some hutments adjoining it in which construction labourers were living, police officials said.

Seven persons were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. However, one of them, 24-year-old Sonu Yadav, was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
