Minutes before leaving the house, she told her mother to finish her work early during the day as in the evening she would go to market along with her to purchase a suit for her birthday.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a never-ending wait for the mother for her eldest daughter Tulika died in a road accident on her way to college.

Says a family member: “We just could not believe the news when we got a telephone call this morning saying that Tulika was crushed down by a speeding bus.” She said next month there was a marriage scheduled in the family and Tulika was extremely excited. She got some audio CD prepared for dance item to take place on the occasion of ‘Ladies’ sangeet’. The marriage of one of her aunts was to be held on December 6.
