A ward boy has been arrested for allegedly molesting two burn victims in Masina hospital at Byculla in South Mumbai.

A ward boy has been arrested for allegedly molesting two burn victims in Masina hospital at Byculla in South Mumbai, police said.

The two girls, who were undergoing treatment for burn injuries since Sunday were allegedly molested by ward boy Ramesh Badrilal Chavan and Dr Bhanu while changing bandages on Tuesday, they said.

While Badrilal was arrested on Wednesday, the accused doctor is absconding since the incident, police said.

Meanwhile, an angry mob attacked the hospital late last night following the incident and damaged some property, they said adding six police vans were deployed to control the mob.
