'Warning' to 6 candidates

The District Returning Officer has issued a "warning discharge memo" to the six candidates in Davangere LS constituency for not filing their poll expenditure statement.

The District Returning Officer has issued a "warning discharge memo" to all the six candidates including state minister SS Mallikarjun, in Davangere Lok Sabha constituency for not filing their daily poll expenditure statement, a senior official said.

Deputy Commissioner MS Ravishankar, who is also the returning officer, told PTI that the candidates had to file their daily expenditure statement once in three days.

Meanwhile, all the three Election Commission observers have arrived here.
