Water congregation continued to slow down the traffic movement at the roundabout on Monday for the sixth day. Water started to leak from a drain on July 6 and the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) officials have not been able to fix the problem till now.

The roundabout sees convergence of heavy vehicular traffic from Gurgaon Expressway, Sector 46, DLF Phase I, II and Sushant Lok and also from MG Road. Another cause of concern for cummuters is the HUDA City Centre roundabout which is also waterlogged.

“The roundabout was already clogged with water but now a major portion of the road has disappeared,” said a commuter.

“I used to take this route instead of IIFCO Chowk as it’s choked all the time. But for the past few days, I have been facing similar problems as it takes me half-an-hour to cross the spot,” said Avni, another commuter.
