The camp has been organised by Wellspring Pathlab, a subsidiary of Nicholas Piramal India Ltd.

Project Cops, which was inaugurated by Joint Commissioner of Police Meera Borwankar, will have batches of 50 inspectors everyday undergoing tests to evaluate their vital health parameters like cholesterol, blood sugar levels, ECG and body mass index.

"Police (personnel) undergo tremendous pressure due to irregular lifestyle as per their
jobs demand. It is important for them to start the day with Yoga or exercise to reduce stress caused by mounting work hours," said Borwankar.
