Jang Miran of South Korea set a new world record in the women's weightlifting +75kg class with a snatch lift of 140kg at the Beijing Olympics on Saturday.
It erased the previous record of 139kg set by Mu Shuangshuang of China at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
