Welcome change heartily

When I see my granddaughter and then reflect on myself, I am reminded of the eternal law of nature: nothing is static in this world. We have to accept that all things ---good and bad --- come to an end one day. Nothing lasts forever.

We have got to learn a lot from nature. It teaches us so many things for free. That is, go on doing your work, someday or the other, success will be yours; slow and steady wins the race. My experience tells me that the natural course is the best course. Whenever we try to counter the natural process, we face problems and the consequent disappointments.

Our parents and our forefathers understood the importance of the mysteries of nature and acted in consonance with the intuitive guidance of nature. But now, that is not the case. Things have changed beyond recognition. Nobody has the time for such things. There is a mad rush. You see people rushing in all directions. Life has become mechanical. We have no time to stand and stare.

The philosopher was at his wits end as this was impossible. After considerable thinking, the philosopher wrote the following four words: "This, too, will pass!"

Our happiness on this planet too will pass and we may have to face ‘dark days’. There is no escape from this kind of changes and may lead to great discomfort in life. But such developments help us prepare ourselves for future difficulties. One may have to encounter all kinds of pain and misfortune, but not forever. There will be always hope and the proverbial silver lining.
